More Changes To Certification Software Coming

Within the next few weeks we'll be releasing the newest version of our Virtual Tester Pro client software that is used to take our certification exams.  One of the bigger enhancements coming will be the addition of portrait scaling that will allow the test taker to resize the tester interface to a portrait shape allowing for more screen space to be used by SolidWorks.  This will be extremely useful for those users who only have a single monitor system.  Here is a sample of what it will look like:

Portrait
If you have ever used any of the built in tutorials in SolidWorks, this layout will basically be the same.  Other options we also hope to roll out include the ability to reconnect a test that was interrupted by a computer failure.

If you would like to beta test the new portrait scaling option, and take a free advanced exam at the same time, send us an email in the next 24 hours, and we'll get you set up.  This offer only applies to the advanced exams that cover Weldments, Mold Tools, FEA, Surfacing, and Sheet Metal.  Send an email to certification@solidworks.comwith the text 'Beta Test' in the subject.  All emails received by 11:59pm PST on May 27th will qualify!

This will definitely help a lot. I took the CSWP tests at home using BootCamp on my iMac. Switching windows back and forth with alt+tab was a pain.
