Building Job Skills for Nigerians with NADDC and SOLIDWORKS

National Automotive Design and Development Council (NADDC) Automotive Design and Manufacturing initiative fosters the fabrication of spare parts using local raw materials by Nigerians in order to reduce dependence on imported components.

The results create greater opportunities and empowerment for Nigerian youth.  New skills leads to job creation. Earlier this month, NADDC teamed up with DASSAULT SYSTEMES, and SOLIDWORKS VAR Coscharis Technologies to create the Design and Simulation Software Automotive Design Skills Bootcamp for two weeks.

I cannot remember any Nigerian student event that has received so much coverage by the popular and business press – along with TV coverage.  Here are a few examples: Daily Nigerian, Today NG.

Thank you Clement Nnedu for your dedication to Nigerian education.

Be well.  Marie
