Robots are in Boston this Weekend at Northeastern University

Neutrons 125 FIRST Robotics

Robots are in Boston this weekend competing at the Northeastern University New England FIRST District Qualifying Event.  I got a chance to talk to mentor,  Brandon Holley about this NE FRC Regional Event.

Brandon Holley FIRST Robotics Northeastern

For years, Brandon has been the organizer of the Beantown Blitz, an after FIRST robot season event, that SolidWorks loves.

According to Brandon, in the heart of FRC season, Northeastern’s  Matthews arena, the oldest hockey rink in the world,  will open its doors to the public and to energized FRC teams from New England on Friday March 28/29.

Northeastern is home to the Nutrons, an FRC #125 team that has amazing STEM outreach programs.  There will be 40 teams that will participate in the Northeastern FIRST Regional.

From the SolidWorks EDU team, we wish you a great event.  To the SolidWorks Community, bring your kids this weekend to see great robots in Boston – the event is free.  Can’t wait to see you there.  Marie
