SolidWorks User Group Network – for Educators too

 SolidWorks World User Community

SolidWorks User Groups are a valuable resource to all members of the SolidWorks community. As an educator, joining a SolidWorks User Group and attending a user group meeting provides benefits for you and your students.

Just ask Randall Bock from Pennsylvania State University (PSU).  Randall is hosting a SolidWorks Technical Summit Tuesday, September 17, 2013.  The Summit will be a day of educational seminars covering many technical applications of SolidWorks, SolidWorks Simulation, 3DVIA Composer and 3D CAD.

15 seminars (3 concurrently) are planned. Since many attendees will be from manufacturing companies using SolidWorks, this is an excellent opportunity to network with industry contacts.

Here is the Summit schedule and registration link: https://www.swugn.org/swugn/events/6692_ENG_HTML.htm

Randall is user group leader for the Happy Valley SolidWorks User Group and is an education leader at Penn State and the SolidWorks Community.  He is a CSWA Provider (Certified SolidWorks Associate Exam provider) and hundreds of his students have achieved CSWA.

There are over 200 SolidWorks Users groups around the world.  To join a SolidWorks Users group go to www.swugn.org.  Marie
