Scooter in SolidWorks
For this post, I created something that a number of people use as a means of transportation or just for fun. The scooter was a simple but fun build consisting of seven basic parts. The grip on the base was created as a separate body within the base part. This allowed me to use the existing geometry of the base to create it. If desired, the two bodies can be separated into different parts. The wheels were also created with two bodies. Two different materials were applied to these bodies simply by right clicking the bodies in the solid bodies folder found in the part document. To finish off the model, I created a roadway to give my final image a more realistic background. Feel free to check out the model attached below. I hope you enjoy.
