Podcast with Philipp Glonner: From Economics to Engineering

“I never backed down, never took no for an answer and continued to push forward…”  Philipp Glonner

I have spoken with hundreds of founders during the past several years.  One characteristic presents itself repeatedly: Determination.

Philipp began his education as an economics major but soon realized that his destiny was not to study production, distribution, or the consumption of goods and services.  His true calling, nurtured by time spent working on performance vehicles with his late father, was engineering.  The greatest hurdle toward achieving this goal, however, was math. The courses were incredibly difficult.  Despite some early setbacks and the onset of COVID-19, he persevered. His strong will, determination and love of all things mechanical led him to where he is today.

Philipp is the Co-Founder and CEO of ARTHUR Bus, a newly founded mobility company and system manufacturer from Munich, he has led the development and production of one of the most advanced hydrogen buses on the market.
