Witness the Future of Manufacturing on the Shop Floor at 3DEXPERIENCE World

This time of year is truly one of my favorites as we close one year, look back on all the progress we have made, and imagine what the future will bring.  The other highlight of this time of year is we get to talk about all the great things happening at 3DEXPERIENCE World 2024 in Dallas, Texas!  The area my team is the most excited about is the Shop Floor in the Playground.

We have been working for months with our partners to bring an amazing educational space of all the latest trends in manufacturing today.  We will keep a few surprises for everyone who attends, but let’s talk about the area and what you can expect to see and interact with during the event.

  •        CNC Machines from DN Solutions

This year, we are working on some cool projects for the 5-axis mill and the Mill/Turn provided by our Partners DN Solutions and Ellison technologies.  If you attended last year, you may have seen the famous belt buckle and cups in high demand.  We want to take it a step higher with what we are making this year.  I can’t share the details yet, but let’s say we are mooooving right along.

  •        CNC 101 and machines from Tormach

Tormach has been a great partner since day one of the Shop Floor.  This year is no exception, with three CNC machines running live parts and the addition of CNC 101 sessions so you can sign up and attend an instructor-led class on Tormach XsTech routers.  There will be class sign-up times during the event at the Tormach station.  Last year, we had many attendees who wanted to learn about CNC, and this year, we will provide more specific times for them to come back and get their hands dirty.

  •        Robotics from Kassow

The hit at last year’s event was Dr. Presso, the coffee-making robot.  This year, we have partnered with Kassow to expand into an Arc Welding and cookie-making cell fully automated with the help of DELMIA Robotics.  Make sure to stop by and see some sweets being finished with automation.

We have much more available on the shop floor, from ERP/MES to Inspection and Automation processes.  While we could talk for days about all the projects we have to showcase manufacturing and processes, signing up and attending the event is the best way to learn more!

There may also be a Texas-sized Titan of CNC on hand Tuesday for a meet and greet! Stay tuned for more on that.
