BattleBots, BattleBots, and more BattleBots…

Another season of BattleBots on the Discovery Channel has come and gone.  It was another fascinating year, with more robots than ever, and some great bouts.  In case you missed it (no spoiler alerts here), I would highly recommend watching.  We cheered on all of the many teams using SOLIDWORKS, and enjoyed seeing many new faces (teams) fighting in the arena this year.

We have many resources to learn more about several of the BattleBots teams that, like many of you, use SOLIDWORKS, and have shared their experiences with us.  I have met many of the teams personally, and it really is a fascinating group of people—who live and breathe design and engineering—but also all enjoy helping others, whether it’s helping their local high school robotics team, or mentoring others; they are certainly a like-minded, passionate group of individuals.
