A new Document Management app, now available on the 3DEXPERIENCE platform, manages a variety of content such as PDF, Word documents, PowerPoint decks, images, videos, and much more. And the app is intuitive, easy to learn and use and automatically pulls in all the documents for your 3DEXPERIENCE Platform without the need to manually search for documents in different locations.
You can review document information such as attributes and history, and open document files with an embedded viewer. Or explore content related to the document and then download the document at your convenience.
A key productivity enhancing feature is the ability to subscribe to documents that helps users informed if a document maturity change has occurred or a new revision of the document is available. The subscription command is available from multiple different applications and the users can be notified via the 3D Notification panel.
Searching for documents is a simple task by leveraging 6W (Who, When, What, Where, Why, hoW) tags to filter the list by owner, maturity state, or other qualifiers that best suit your search needs. The new Attachments tab also allows you to attach reference documents to the primary document including quality system and technical documents.
