Join the Community. Join the Conversation. The SOLIDWORKS 3DEXPERIENCE User Community

The SOLIDWORKS 3DEXPERIENCE User Community on 3DSwym is a place where all are welcome to learn, engage, discover, share knowledge, and network with other users and members of the SOLIDWORKS team, for all things related to SOLIDWORKS 3DEXPERIENCE. It’s a great introduction to the community, but may prompt three questions: “What is 3DSwym? What does the description really mean? And, where do I find the community?”

Let’s start with a look at 3DSwym. 3DSwym is a way to stay connected with other users, a social, collaborative app within the 3DEXPERIENCE platform. In the app, you can create content, chat with other platform users, and exchange files. 3DSwym also includes a Wiki, surveys and a way to share ideas you have. As a part of the platform, 3DSwym is fully integrated with 3D Creator (xDesign), 3D Sculptor (xShape), 3DDrive, and numerous other apps.

3DSwym is also a gateway to discover other communities and thousands of 3DEXPERIENCE platform users, including the 3DEXPERIENCE Platform Users community, 3DEXPERIENCELab, and the SOLIDWORKS Top Ten List for 3DEXPERIENCE World. Visit and interact with members of the SIMULIA Learning Community, check out the new projects in Madein3D, and offer your designs of DaVinci’s inventions in the Open CodeX community.

As for the SOLIDWORKS 3DEXPERIENCE User Community itself, consider it the 3DSwym sibling of the SOLIDWORKS Desktop community. It is the place to go for the latest news, updates and information about the SOLIDWORKS digital design apps. New training materials, learning paths and resources are published to the community frequently, and assistance comes from community members and SOLIDWORKS employees alike. It is the venue to ask and answer questions about SOLIDWORKS 3DEXPERIENCE apps, to exchange knowledge, and share tips and tricks you’ve discovered.

A visit to the SOLIDWORKS 3DEXPERIENCE User community is just a click away. Use your 3DPassport or SOLIDWORKS ID to log in and discover all the community has to offer. If you don’t have an account, creating a 3DPassport takes only a few moments.

Once there, be sure to save a bookmark, and subscribe to the community to receive the latest news and content updates. To subscribe, click on the down caret located next to the content filter icons at the top right, then pick a subscription option from the Community features menu.
