SolidWorks World 2011 Partner Profile: Stratasys
One of the things we've heard from SolidWorks World attendees over the past few years is that you'd like to learn more in advance about the SolidWorks partners who set up booths in the Partner Pavilion. So now through January, we'll be posting a series of blog entries about some of the partners you might think about checking out, and the people who will be representing them.
If there are any SolidWorks partners you'd like to hear from, leave a comment and we'll do our best to get them on here.
1. Tell us about Stratasys.
Stratasys produces additive manufacturing systems using patented FDM® technology to make real parts directly from 3D CAD files. Our Fortus® 3D production systems are used for direct digital manufacturing and precision rapid prototyping, and our Dimension® 3D printers are low-cost, networked alternatives for building functional 3D models from the desktop. We also operate Redeye On Demand, a digital manufacturing service.
2. Why should SolidWorks World attendees visit your booth?
Attendees can see Dimension 3D Printers in action, get a free sample part, and see real-world examples of how our technology saves money and speeds time to market for product designers and engineers.
3. How can your products or services help make a SolidWorks user’s life easier?
Using FDM technology, our systems build models layer by layer using engineering-grade thermoplastics. This allows users to build real working models that they can see, feel, and test. By modeling early and often throughout the design process, you can find flaws earlier, when it’s least expensive to correct them.
4. How can customers connect with you at the show? How about before and after?
Our SolidWorks World booth number is 625. Here are a few other ways attendees can find us:
