Ricky Throws a Heck of a Meeting

The North Alabama SolidWorks User Group welcomed John McEleney and me with great food, a great facility, and a great group of 55 SolidWorks users last night.  This was the 22nd meeting for NASWUG since 2004, and their largest attendance ever.

John’s presentation was very well received, and you could tell he was as happy to be there as the crowd was to have him.  We’ll continue the "Southern Swing" in Charlotte tonight, and finish up in Atlanta on Wednesday.

Congratulations to Rich Hall who answered 76% (16/21) of the Tips and Tricks Trivia Contest questions correctly – a new record.  It should be noted however that John gave away two of the answers during his talk – next time I guess I should look at his slides first.

Look for more (later today) about last nights meeting at Ricky’s blog, and over at CADFanatic (Brian even talked about posting the meeting video at CADJunky).

Since starting the Central Texas SolidWorks User Group in 1999, my career path has led me to DS SolidWorks and a dream job supporting the SolidWorks User Group Network worldwide.
