8th Annual SWUGN Summit Meeting

Always my favorite meeting of the year, the 8th Annual SWUGN Summit was terrific this year.  Almost 50 user group leaders from around the world, several members of the press, and other users interested in learning more about SolidWorks user groups attended the two-hour meeting and were treated to some very good news about SolidWorks User Groups

21 new user groups in North America in 2006
6 new international user groups in 2006
A 10% overall increase in attendance
Group member satisfaction is at an all-time high
An increased awareness of SWUGN and SolidWorks User Groups

I want to extend a personal thank you to all of our user group leaders worldwide for their hard work, dedication, and desire to make the SolidWorks User Group Network the best it can be.  If you aren’t yet a member of a local SolidWorks User Group, you certainly should be.

Since starting the Central Texas SolidWorks User Group in 1999, my career path has led me to DS SolidWorks and a dream job supporting the SolidWorks User Group Network worldwide.
