Meet the Press – Literally

Ralph Grabowski mentioned some time ago that there would be 100+ journalists at SolidWorks World.  Just to set the record straight, Ralph and 127 other members of the press will be in New Orleans.  Included in that total are two of my favorites – Jeff Rowe of MCADCafe fame, and Rachael Dalton-Taggart of Cyon Research.  On my list of people to meet – Roopinder Tara of TenLinks and Randall Newton of AECNews.

I’m most excited about the SolidWorks bloggers that will be there.  The journalists will give you the news, the bloggers will give you the story.  The bloggers will be in the trenches – reporting on technical sessions, what other users are saying, the annual SWUGN meeting, and more.

The best way to follow all of the bloggers at SolidWorks World is to set up an Ajax page using Google, Yahoo, or Netvibes (my choice).  Then you can read their entries each day.

My official title is Senior User Advocacy & SolidWorks User Groups - but most people just call me "The User Group Guy". I've been a SolidWorks user since 1997, and was one of the founding members of the SWUGN Committee. Since starting the Central Texas SolidWorks User Group in 1999, my career path has led me to DS SolidWorks and a dream job supporting the SolidWorks User Group Network worldwide.
