Big Community, Small World

It seems like everywhere I go I run into someone I’ve met through my association with SolidWorks.  Last week when I arrived for the Redwood Empire SolidWorks User Group meeting, I ran into Steve Rebensdorf of Dimension Printing.  I met Steve more than five years ago at a Central Texas event and I shouldn’t have been surpised to see him at a user group meeting.  Steve and his local distributors have been great supporters of SolidWorks User Groups, and the RESWUG attendees were very pleased with the presentation they saw.  Thanks Steve – it was nice to see you again.

My official title is Senior User Advocacy & SolidWorks User Groups - but most people just call me "The User Group Guy". I've been a SolidWorks user since 1997, and was one of the founding members of the SWUGN Committee. Since starting the Central Texas SolidWorks User Group in 1999, my career path has led me to DS SolidWorks and a dream job supporting the SolidWorks User Group Network worldwide.
