Fratelli Rossetto Leverages Cloud-based Solutions to Reduce Errors and Optimize Operations
Fratelli Rossetto has manufactured polyurethane molding for the furniture sector since 1957, from small lounge areas to large hotel chains and airport-gate seating. The company combines its considerable experience with an innovative spirit to continually improve its distinctive Italian-designed products.
From designing the model to molding it in polyurethane to conducting quality controls, every step of the product development process of existing and new models is staffed by skilled international professionals equipped with state-of-the-art machinery.
Fratelli Rossetto employs over 200 people in Trebaseleghe, Italy, just northwest of Venice, and exports its furniture to all five continents.
Solving Product Development Problems
Company management knew they needed to solve critical business issues, such as the negative impact of having important information scattered in numerous folders around the organization, especially when you produce an extremely large number of diverse products. The company also wanted a secure way to access and manage product revisions. Additionally, the approval workflow did not encourage communication or collaboration between departments.

Alberto Volpato, IT manager at Fratelli Rossetto, emphasizes that the company always had a cloud solution in mind. “Because the platform is provided as a service, hardware management and maintenance costs are greatly reduced,” says Volpato.
Designer Andrea Mazzaro works with feasibility studies and industrialization of new projects.
