SolidWorks World 2012 call for papers

For many of us, it seems like SolidWorks World 2011 just ended last week. And while we're still seven months out from SolidWorks World 2012 in San Diego, things are already starting to happen.

While SolidWorks World always has lots of great presentations and guest speakers, the real value of the event for most customers comes from the technical breakout sessions that take place over three days, most of which are lead by regular SolidWorks customers. These presenters come from around the world, and lead sessions on topics in which they have considerable experience. In return, we let them into the event for free. You can see some of the presentations from SolidWorks World 2011 on our website.

Any SolidWorks customer 21 or older can submit a proposal to present at the event, starting today. Later this summer, our selection committee will get together and pick the ones that they think will be the most valuable, and send out invitations. We encourage both long-time presenters and new applicants alike to submit.

If you want to find out more, visit the submission site and get the details. With any luck, we'll see you February 12-15 in San Diego, California.
