Ask James Cameron a question

As I'm guessing everyone knows by now, Avatar mastermind James Cameron will be the keynote speaker at SolidWorks World 2010. And here's your chance to ask him a question.

If there's anything you want to know about James or his movies, or any other questions you want to ask, leave a comment here. If it's good, we may just put it in front of him on stage.

So, Avatar was awesome, some of us have seen it in 2d and some in 3d. How about giving the attendees and resellers a pair of tickets to go see it again, in the other format? It would probably get us to take our whole families once again!

Was the movie meant to push the political stance of going against the establishment? Or is that reading into it too much? I just saw it last night to be sure I had seen it before I came at the end of the month.

Why is the movie called avatar?

  • suneetha

    hai Mr.James

my name is suneetha from India. I would like to ask you ,is there any particular research behind using the words like navi, ewha and other navi language, or the language is also one of your creations. And I would also like to know whether the tribals shown in avtar did really resemble the indian epic .If so how close are they. I really loved the intimation between the navi and the animals. And I wish every human on earth could be like a navi in your creations. But please give me all your reasearchs as I am very eager to know how much did the Indian epic inspired you to create such a beautiful and wonderful movie.

    Dear Mr. Cameron,

I read that development for Avatar began in 1994; however, the film just now has been released in 2010. Was this due, to some degree, to the lack of technology to properly convey your vision of Avatar? If so, how were you so confident that the technology would become available and did you have a part in the development of such technology?

P.S. I do not consider myself a Science Fiction Fan; however, I thoroughly enjoyed Avatar on so many levels! Truly amazing and touching!

Can you make a 3D Aliens movie?

Can you make another good Terminator movie with the real life Arnold and Linda Hamilton?

    Can I play a terminator?

    Dear Mr. Cameron,
What is the canon ending of Avatar the Game? I mean what happens with Able Ryder (is he become a Navi like Jake Sully on the end of the movie or what) and will Ryder be mentioned in the next Avatar movie or was he just a random character for the game?

PS. I am from Poland, so i am sorry for possible mistakes in this question.
