The SOLIDWORKS User Group Network- A Community by Users for Users
At SOLIDWORKS, our engaged, energized, and passionate users are at the core of everything we do. The SOLIDWORKS community is a diverse global network of users from all backgrounds eager to share their skills and support one another.
A cornerstone of the SOLIDWORKS community is our SOLIDWORKS User Group Network (SWUGN), which is run by our users for our users. SWUGN has a long-standing history of empowering SOLIDWORKS users to collaborate with, learn from, and teach others.
Let’s examine some of the things that make the SOLIDWORKS User Group Network so unique and special.
SOLIDWORKS User Groups: Background
What is SWUGN?
SOLIDWORKS User Groups started in 1997, created by users for users. Since its inception, the SOLIDWORKS User Group Network (SWUGN) has operated with the goal of providing SOLIDWORKS users with a place to share knowledge, network with other users, and further develop their skills.
Over the years, SWUGN has expanded to countries all around the world, providing an ever-growing community to unite SOLIDWORKS users. Are you curious to see which countries we’re in? Check out this map of all the SWUGN groups around the world.
Who can join?
The best part about the User Group community? Anyone can join. Membership in user groups is free and available to anyone eager to share their knowledge and learn from others.
SWUGN Events & Highlights
The benefit of having a community of like-minded individuals cannot be understated. While there are so many meaningful events, meetups, and conversations within SWUGN, here are three stand-outs to give you an idea of the value that these communities bring.
