At 3DEXPERIENCE World, We Network. Here’s How.

3DEXPERIENCE World is about many things. Among them: learning new technologies, furthering your knowledge on currently in-use products and solutions, and, of course, meeting new people!

This year, we’re providing many ways in which to do so. As in previous years, we’ll have the larger-than-life get-togethers as well as the more intimate, concentrated 1-to-1 style opportunities to get to know your peers at the event.

Here are some ways of the ways you’ll be able to catch up with old friends and make new, valuable connections this year at 3DEXPERIENCE World.

This Year’s Special Event: Bash on Broadway

We’re taking a whole block of Broadway in Nashville! Come join us for an evening full of fun, games, access to the coolest nightlife spots in town, and – of course – great music (it’s Nashville, after all).

When: Tuesday, February 10 @ 7:00pm-10:00pm

The Hive

Are you a ‘first-timer’ at World? A member of the SOLIDWORKS User Group Network? The Hive is the ultimate hangout space at 3DEXPERIENCE World. Drop by to make connections, see some cool physical models, and get a fill-up on coffee.

NEW! Hive Mind Meetups

This year, we’ve expanded The Hive’s mission of connection by offering four unique sessions you can register for on the agenda, with the goal of giving you more intimate access to professionals like you. Designers and engineers will have a targeted chance to meet other designers & engineers. Same for artists & hobbyists, CAD & PDM admins, and more.

Who said ‘certification’ always has to be about exams? While you’ll have the chance to touch on that aspect during Certification Sunday, we’ll also have our famous CSWE event for all our Certified SOLIDWORKS Experts in attendance. Always an amazing time!

SWUGN Summit

We invite you to register on the agenda to learn all about what makes the SOLIDWORKS User Group Network (SWUGN) special. Meet your local/regional leaders, and learn how you can get involved locally year-round.

LN-4 Prosthetics Group Assembly Activity

If you haven’t yet read about some of the fantastic 3DEXPERIENCE For Good activities you can be a part of at the event this year, I definitely encourage you to do so. This one is all about working with fellow event-goers to put together prosthetic hand kits made for distribution to all corners of the globe by the Ellen Meadows Prosthetic Hand Foundation (LN-4). Be sure to stop by the 3DEXPERIENCE Playground to check it out!

Every Kid Gets a Robot (EKGAR) Group Workshop

With even more of a chance to do good on Day 3, our 3DEXPERIENCE For Good community activities continue onto Day 3 as well. You’ll have the chance to put together robotics kits made to further STEM education in local communities, furthering the outstanding work done by Danielle Boyer – who will be appearing on the main stage this year. This workshop will also be held in the 3DEXPERIENCE Playground!
