SOLIDWORKS World Special Events are…Special

People will tell you that they attend SOLIDWORKS World for the technical content, the networking, the chance to meet with SOLIDWORKS employees, and to research the latest technologies in the Partner Pavilion.  Don’t let that fool you, they also attend for the Tuesday night Special Event.

We’ve had some really good events over the past 16 years – Las Vegas Motor Speedway, Universal Studios, The Gaslamp Quarter, and Cowboys Dancehall are a couple of examples.  The food is always great, there are usually plenty of activities to keep you entertained, and 80’s rock is typically the music of choice.

Someone asked me once “Why would they schedule an 80’s rock band for a bunch of engineers?”.  The picture above is exactly the reason.

This year’s event looks very promising, perhaps reminiscent of our San Antonio event in 2011.  Cowboys, bulls, pig races, and margarita’s are just a few of the activities you’ll enjoy Tuesday evening.  Don’t be tempted to miss this event in favor of some extra sleep.  And don’t be surprised to find an “after party” later in the evening
