So..I was Craving a Philly Cheesesteak…

“One Wiz With” or “One Provolone Without” – try to order a Cheesesteak in Texas using “proper” terminology and you’re likely to get nothing but a blank stare.  Sure, we have great BBQ, great Tex-Mex food, and more Taco trucks than you can shake a stick at, but if you want an authentic Philly Cheesesteak, you head to the “City of Brotherly Love”.

My first stop was a surprise visit to the MARISUG group to see Jeff Holliday and China’s first user group leader Roy Luo.  Roy is here in the states for a few weeks with his company, and attended this meeting to meet Jeff and some others to get advice on running his group back in China.  Jeff did a great job with the meeting, and I know Roy picked up quite a few tidbits of information.

This morning, I drove over to Garwood, NJ for the DesignPoint Solutions SOLIDWORKS 2015 Launch Event.  The folks at DesignPoint did a great job today, using a “Feature Feud” format to present the new features and functionality in a fun and informative way.
Tomorrow morning I’ll head over to the Prism Engineering SOLIDWORKS 2015 Launch Event, and then home on Saturday.  That’ll be it for my SOLIDWORKS 2015 Launch Events, but I’m gearing up for a 4 meeting swing in Texas and Oklahoma early next month, along with Suchit Jain, Greg Jankowski, and Todd Blacksher.

I doubt if any of those groups will be serving Cheesesteaks.
