A Day in Lynchburg to Celebrate 10 Years

SWUGLY’S Barbara Bohannon

I’m heading out tomorrow for three great SOLIDWORKS User Group meetings this week.  I’ll start in Lynchburg, Virginia to help SWUGLY celebrate their 10 year anniversary.  This is my first trip to see Barbara, Lew, and the rest of the SWUGLY folks and I’m really looking forward to it.  SWUGLY has been a relatively quiet group over the years, and I finally get a chance to meet some of the others involved.  An exciting side note – Toby Schnaars from Prism Engineering will also attend (and maybe sing the “Fully Defined” song?).

On Wednesday I’ll take a drive over to Richmond and catch a flight for Atlanta, Georgia to see Tom Ellis and the crew at the Atlanta Metro Area SOLIDWORKS User Group.  I always enjoy seeing Tom, and I’ve been told that the dinner menu will be something special.  Oh, and a plant tour of Graphic Packaging International comes with the deal.

I’ll finish the week in Baltimore with Craig Bilenki and Mark Athey at the B-MORE SOLIDWORKS User Group.  We’ve held a couple of SWUGN Summit events in Baltimore, but I’ve never had the chance to meet with the whole group.  I’m looking forward to it.

It’s a long trip with plenty of flying and driving, but it’s what I like to do best – mingling with our SOLIDWORKS User Group members.

Happy 10th SWUGLY!
