CAD Managers Boot Camp at SolidWorks World 2013

Every year since SolidWorks World 2005, the CAD Managers Boot Camp at SolidWorks Worlddraws hundreds of attendees (only the general sessions are larger) on conference Sunday.  They spend four hours learning about effectively deploying and managing SolidWorks installations, setting up and maintaining workstations, and implementing standards and procedures that maximize their investment in SolidWorks.

SolidWorks World 2013 will once again feature Greg Jankowski leading the session (for nine years now) along with a supporting cast from technical support.

The CAD Managers Boot Camp is generally geared toward system administrators and IT professionals, but in the real world, CAD administration is handled by all sorts of different folks – the company CAD guru, the designer/drafter, or the newly hired engineer that gets handed the stuff nobody else wants to do.

At four hours, it’s a very long session, but its definitely worth it.  There are plenty of breaks, some refreshments at the back of the room, and you’ll get a chance to meet some of the attendees before the conference really gets going.  Pre-registration is recommended, but don’t worry – there will be plenty of room.

Bring lots of note paper.
