SolidWorks World 2011 Partner Profile: Camtek GmbH

One of the things we've heard from SolidWorks World attendees over the past few years is that you'd like to learn more in advance about the SolidWorks partners who set up booths in the Partner Pavilion. So now through January, we'll be posting a series of blog entries about some of the partners you might think about checking out, and the people who will be representing them. Today we hear from Melanie Staib, Application Engineer at Camtek GmbH.

If there are any SolidWorks partners you'd like to hear from, leave a comment and we'll do our best to get them on here.

1. Tell us about Camtek GmbH.
Camtek GmbH, founded in 1993, develops and distributes the CAD/CAM system PEPS all over Europe. Further on the first implemented CAD/CAM system was presented in 2009. The CAD/CAM-system OPTICAM is a fully integrated solution for the programming of wire EDM machines in SolidWorks™.

2. Why should SolidWorks World attendees visit your booth?
OPTICAM is great innovation in the CAD/CAM market for wire EDM machines. Camtek GmbH has more than 16 years experience in programming Wire EDM machines. Our immense knowledge in this field has evolved into our new CAD/CAM-system OPTICAM.

3. How can your products or services help make a SolidWorks user’s life easier?
