Houston was Great – But Where Was Santiago?

More than 50 of us had a great time at the HOUSUG meeting this week, with presentations from Nicole Walden (CSWP/CSWA), and Stephen Moore (Routing).  I was pleased to throw in a "Bunch of Stuff" session which allowed me to highlight SolidWorks World (thanks for indulging me everyone) as well as a few Tips and Tricks sprinkled in.

It didn’t dawn on me until the ride home, but one of my favorite SolidWorks users was missing.  I don’t think I’ve ever attended a user group meeting in Houston without seeing Santiago Laverde of Halliburton.

Santiago – where were you??

Special thanks to Alan Cegielski and Joe Lance for putting it all together.

My official title is Senior User Advocacy & SolidWorks User Groups - but most people just call me "The User Group Guy". I've been a SolidWorks user since 1997, and was one of the founding members of the SWUGN Committee. Since starting the Central Texas SolidWorks User Group in 1999, my career path has led me to DS SolidWorks and a dream job supporting the SolidWorks User Group Network worldwide.
