The Stars Align in the East Bay Area

How’s this for a first meeting?

Kenneth Barrentine, a regular on the SolidWorks Discussion Forum (almost 500 posts), has put together quite a lineup for the first Tri-Valley SolidWorks User Group meeting on March 19th in Pleasanton, California.

Vic Leventhal, Group Executive at Dassault Systemes, and one of the most popular SolidWorks speakers ever, will present The History of SolidWorks to get things going.  Following Vic will be Matt Lorono (better known as fcsuper) of SolidWorks Legion fame with a recap of SolidWorks World 2008.  Matt joins Kenneth to finish off the meeting with a Tips and Tricks session.

Throw in some free food and prizes, and you’ve got yourself one terrific meeting.

My official title is Senior User Advocacy & SolidWorks User Groups - but most people just call me "The User Group Guy". I've been a SolidWorks user since 1997, and was one of the founding members of the SWUGN Committee. Since starting the Central Texas SolidWorks User Group in 1999, my career path has led me to DS SolidWorks and a dream job supporting the SolidWorks User Group Network worldwide.
