SWUGN Awards – User Group Leader of the Year

If you frequent the SolidWorks discussion forums (and you should), you’ll know Gerald Davis as a helpful, straight-forward guy who knows his stuff.  If you’re in manufacturing, you know him as the author of a monthly column for The Fabricator.  If you’re a SolidWorks user in or near Denver, you know Gerald as president of the very successful Colorado SolidWorks User Group.

And now we’ll all know Gerald as SWUGN’s 2007 User Group Leader of the Year.

Gerald’s commitment to SolidWorks users everywhere is unparalleled.  His commitment to COSUG is even stronger.  Congatulations Gerald on this well-deserved award.

My official title is Senior User Advocacy & SolidWorks User Groups - but most people just call me "The User Group Guy". I've been a SolidWorks user since 1997, and was one of the founding members of the SWUGN Committee. Since starting the Central Texas SolidWorks User Group in 1999, my career path has led me to DS SolidWorks and a dream job supporting the SolidWorks User Group Network worldwide.
