SWUGN Awards – User Group of the Year

Congratulations to the SolidWorks User Group of Chennai, SWUGN’s 2007 User Group of the Year. 

Adwait Rajwade and Kiran Srinivasan have put together India’s premier SolidWorks user group organization.  The group averages upwards of 40 attendees per meeting, has maintained a steady meeting schedule, and is able to recruit from it’s own membership for technical content at meetings.  When I visited this group for their inaugural meeting, I spoke with several members that were very excited to have this resource.

I’ll be lucky enough to visit once again when the SWUGN Technical Summit series arrives in Chennai this November.

I've been a SolidWorks user since 1997, and was one of the founding members of the SWUGN Committee. Since starting the Central Texas SolidWorks User Group in 1999, my career path has led me to DS SolidWorks and a dream job supporting the SolidWorks User Group Network worldwide.
