Racing to Racine

The 5th annual Midwest SolidWorks User Conference starts next Wednesday, November 7th (thru the 9th) at the Racine Marriott in Racine, Wisconsin.  The brain-child of SWUGN Midwest Region representative Mark Peters, this event has seen quite a following over the years.  High attendance, terrific guest speakers, and enthusiastic sponsors have been the norm, and this year will be no exception.

Jon Hirschtick will deliver the keynote address on Thursday morning, and featured presenters include Greg Jankowski, Vince Adams, and Brian Harrison of SolidWorks Corporation, SolidWorks users Ed Eaton, Brian Lindahl, and Lenny Kikstra, and some of the top reseller AE’s in the region.  There will even be an appearance by Matthew Cummins who has been traipsing back and forth from the Chicago area to San Jose recently, and we were lucky enough to catch him in the Midwest during the conference. (We’re lucky enough to catch him in San Jose for the November’s SWUGN Technical Summit too, but that’s another story).

Racine is located a stone’s throw from Chicago, Milwaukee, and Madison, but users from all over the Midwest attend this event.  Check with your local user group leader – chances are there’s a carpool forming now.
