Help "The Rock" Get to SolidWorks World

Jason at RockSolid Perspective is looking for some ideas to help convince his company to send him to SolidWorks World in 2008.  In addition to all of the information available on the SolidWorks World 2008 website, he would like to hear from some SolidWorks users that have attended in previous years.  How did you convince management that the training opportunities were worth the trip?  Was the chance to see over 100 SolidWorks Partner products good for your company?  Did networking with fellow SolidWorks users provide information that you could use every day?  What was the "magic" rationale that you used?

Let’s help Jason get to San Diego by heading over to his blog and leaving him a comment or two.

My official title is Senior User Advocacy & SolidWorks User Groups - but most people just call me "The User Group Guy". I've been a SolidWorks user since 1997, and was one of the founding members of the SWUGN Committee. Since starting the Central Texas SolidWorks User Group in 1999, my career path has led me to DS SolidWorks and a dream job supporting the SolidWorks User Group Network worldwide.
