Portland was Almost Boston (huh?)

According to the Portland (Oregon) Business Alliance, the city got its name as a result of a coin toss between the cities two founders.  If it had gone the other way, we would be talking about the upcoming SWUGN Summit – Boston.

It wasn’t chance that determined the location of July 10th’s SWUGN Summit – Portland, it was dogged determination by local group leader Adam Scheible.  Adam’s proclamation at last year’s Seattle Summit made it quite clear where we would schedule the 2007 Northwest event.

The slate of presenters reads like a who’s who of the SolidWorks Community – Matt Lombard, Jeff Mirisola, and Devon Sowell will all be there, along with local user Doug Porter of DesignPort, Inc.  It’s sure to be an unforgettable day.

Visit the SWUGN website for details and a link to registration.
