SWUGN Summits Gather Steam

Judging by the Kansas City and Nashville events (read what Ricky, Matt, and Brian had to say about Nashville), the SWUGN Technical Summits have found their place in the SolidWorks Community.  Hundreds of SolidWorks users have seen some terrific technical sessions, eaten some great food, and met many new friends.

As we move into the second half of the SWUGN Summit schedule, the potential for new attendance records increases.  Starting with Toronto in June, and following with Portland and Denver (July and August respectively), we anticipate big crowds, fantastic presenters, and some very enthusiastic SolidWorks users.

The year wraps up with events in Cincinnati, Philadelphia, and San Jose.  We’ll start discussing the 2008 schedule very soon too.  If you have a favorite city to suggest, leave a comment or send me a note.

It’s not possible to talk about these events without mentioning the folks that help make them so successful.  In addition to those above, people like Wayne Tiffany, Anna Wood, and Zach Wilsterman work tirelessly to ensure a good turnout and quality sessions for all attendees.  Thanks to each and every one of you for your efforts.

My official title is Senior User Advocacy & SolidWorks User Groups - but most people just call me "The User Group Guy". I've been a SolidWorks user since 1997, and was one of the founding members of the SWUGN Committee. Since starting the Central Texas SolidWorks User Group in 1999, my career path has led me to DS SolidWorks and a dream job supporting the SolidWorks User Group Network worldwide.
