Is Anybody Goin' to San Antone…?

The San Antonio SolidWorks User Group is one of my personal favorites, and I’ll be attending their meeting tonight.

SASUG was created in 2003 when the Central Texas SolidWorks User Group was split into two local chapters.  Lila Theis did a fantastic job building the group, and current group leader Jim Lowery has kept the tradition alive (and thriving).  The presentations at SASUG events are always first-class, and the members take an active role in each and every meeting.

I don’t even mind fighting the Austin traffic to get there.

My official title is Senior User Advocacy & SolidWorks User Groups - but most people just call me "The User Group Guy". I've been a SolidWorks user since 1997, and was one of the founding members of the SWUGN Committee. Since starting the Central Texas SolidWorks User Group in 1999, my career path has led me to DS SolidWorks and a dream job supporting the SolidWorks User Group Network worldwide.
