SWUGN Summit – San Diego
Devon does a nice job of summing up the event, but there’s a back story I would like to share.
Wayne Tiffany showed why the SolidWorks Community is the best. A couple of our attendees arrived too late to see his Sheet Metal session live, and Wayne was good enough to spend an extra hour or so with them to do the "short" version in the hallway after the event was over.
Now, if you know Wayne, there isn’t ever any "short" version. Wayne went through his entire presentation for these users without even giving it a second thought. Thanks Wayne, it’s people like you that make the SolidWorks Community what it is!!
My official title is Senior User Advocacy & SolidWorks User Groups - but most people just call me "The User Group Guy". I've been a SolidWorks user since 1997, and was one of the founding members of the SWUGN Committee. Since starting the Central Texas SolidWorks User Group in 1999, my career path has led me to DS SolidWorks and a dream job supporting the SolidWorks User Group Network worldwide.
