User Groups Around the World

The SolidWorks User Group Network is very happy with the success of local user group chapters in North America.  More than 90 groups (and growing) in the US and Canada alone.  Over the next few months, we’ll be focusing a lot of energy on international user groups.  We’ve had a recent flurry of inquiries from users in Europe, and if all goes according to plan, we’ll have at least two new user groups in England within the next couple of months.  India and China will also get a lot of attention.

There are currently 17 international user groups registered with SWUGN, not nearly enough in my opinion.  We’re going to change that starting now.

My official title is Senior User Advocacy & SolidWorks User Groups - but most people just call me "The User Group Guy". I've been a SolidWorks user since 1997, and was one of the founding members of the SWUGN Committee. Since starting the Central Texas SolidWorks User Group in 1999, my career path has led me to DS SolidWorks and a dream job supporting the SolidWorks User Group Network worldwide.
