Manufacturer Empowerment Guides DELMIAWorks Agenda for 2024 3DEXPERIENCE World

3DEXPERIENCE World 2024

Mark your calendars. DELMIAWorks (IQMS) will hold its 2024 User Conference at 3DEXPERIENCE World, February 11-14, 2024, in Dallas, Texas. We hope to see you there for all the training, networking, thought leadership, and hands-on time with experts that the conference has to offer.

Over the last 20 years, we have seen user conferences become an essential part of the enterprise software experience because of their unique ability to deliver multiple value paths to customers in a single, engaging setting.

When we design our user conference agendas, we do so with one key goal in mind: empowering our customers.

In our planning, we look to training and insight as the backbone of empowerment. But we know that networking and industry immersion can be equally powerful tools, so we build in networking opportunities, general sessions, product showcases, presentations from industry experts, and even social events to provide attendees with an inclusive and rich conference experience.

We also recognize that customers who attend the event come from all levels of their organizations. Some are owners and key executives. Others work at the department level. Some are expert users of our manufacturing enterprise resource (ERP) system who are seeking advanced knowledge. Meanwhile, others are new to our system and need foundational information. When we speak of inclusion, interaction, and networking, we think of this diversity of roles and interests as just as valuable as any other aspect of the event.

DELMIAWorks Conference Highlights

All of the planning considerations are reflected in the breadth and depth of our 2024 DELMIAWorks user conference. Let’s look at the highlights.

Training – This year, we have 32 training sessions on the agenda. These are typically, one-hour sessions, led by product experts from DELMIAWorks. The sessions are divided across the key disciplines that take advantage of our ERP and manufacturing execution system (MES) functionality in their manufacturing environments:

  • Accounting and Finance
  • Inventory and Purchasing
  • Production and Operations
  • Quality Assurance
  • Engineering
  • Reporting, System Administration, Security, and IT Infrastructure

The training sessions are delivered in classroom style or, in several cases, as hands-on workshops. In either case, we encourage attendees to bring their systems to class and work along with our instructors in real-time.

Ask-the-Expert – One of the more popular features at our user conference are the Ask-the-Expert sessions. Here, users pre-register for one-on-one meetings with our product experts, where they can take deep dives into their specific questions. Sessions are topic-specific and pre-scheduled to ensure that customers receive the dedicated expert attention and answers they have come to expect at our conference.

Professional Networking – We approach networking opportunities in three ways. One is the dedicated DELMIAWorks mee-up area, where customers can informally meet and talk between sessions and breaks. The second is our Birds-of-a-Feather gatherings. This year, the Birds-of-the-Feather meetings will be organized by topic, at a designated meeting spot. And finally, there will be an evening social event, which is a little bit business and a little bit party.

General Sessions and Expert Presentations – Our general sessions serve to inform our customers about the strategic direction of our company and our brands. The opening keynote session will feature a company-wide update from our CEO and senior leadership, as well as cutting-edge presentations from luminaries in the manufacturing and design world. The opening keynote is designed to broadly share our perspective on the manufacturing and design world at large. It will be complemented by general sessions that provide strategic overviews for each product line, including a DELMIAWorks session to update customers on our strategy and product direction.

Product Showcase – Located in the main floor trade show area, the product playground features demonstrations of all the Dassault Systèmes products at the conference along with the eco-system products that our partners bring to show—including product configurators, 3D Design, computer-aided manufacturing (CAM), peripheral hardware, and support services, to name a few.
