supports the native PDF Viewer functionality for many desktop web browsers (Chrome, Edge, etc).<\/p>\n<p>Most desktop browsers will default to native PDF viewer, but depending on settings you may need previewing PDFs with Oracle OutsideIn Web View.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>On the Web2 IIS Server, a folder is created using a unique session ID.<\/li>\n<li>On the Web2 IIS Server, the PDF is copied from the vault to the session folder.<\/li>\n<li>On the Web2 IIS Server, the Oracle OutsideIn preview application will extract images and text from the document and generate html pages with the preview content in the temporary session folder.<\/li>\n<li>On the Web2 client, the PDF displays in the Preview.<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-32807 size-large\" Access HTML Files Generated from SOLIDWORKS<\/strong><strong>\u00ae <\/strong><strong>Composer Project on a Windows\u00ae 11 Machine with Microsoft Edge <\/strong><\/span><\/h1>\n<p><em>Author : Richie MORE <\/em><\/p>\n<p>With rollout of<strong>\u00a0Windows\u00ae 11<\/strong> Operating System, the well-known Internet Browser \u201c<strong>Internet Explorer\u00a0<\/strong>\u201c \u00a0retired with a permanent disable via Microsoft Edge Update on 14th February 2023. Thus with Microsoft\u00ae Windows\u00ae 11 Operating System, there is no \u201cInternet Explorer\u201d browser. This results in a difficulty for most of the SOLIDWORKS\u00ae Composers users who relied on Internet Explorer browser to access the HTML Output generated from SOLIDWORKS\u00ae Composer Application.<\/p>\n<p>Here is a method to access the HTML Output from SOLIDWORKS\u00ae Composer in a Windows 11 Operating System Installed machine with the inbuilt \u201c<strong>Microsoft Edge&#8221;<\/strong> Browser. Follow the steps mentioned below :<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Initiate Microsoft Edge. How to Launch SOLIDWORKS\u00ae in different foreign languages efficiently?<\/strong><\/span><\/h1>\n<p><em>Author : Rohit CHAVAN<\/em><\/p>\n<p>As most of us know SOLIDWORKS\u00ae provides us the ability to use software in around 14 different foreign languages including English language. You can add or remove language pack anytime from the settings available in \u2018SOLIDWORKS Installation Manager (IM) \u2019. We will have a detail look as we proceed further.<\/p>\n<p>The language packs which are downloaded from SOLIDWORKS\u00ae, reside in location &#8211; <strong>C:\\Program Files\\SOLIDWORKS Corp\\SOLIDWORKS\\lang<\/strong>. So just by browsing to this location, we can identify which language packs are available.<\/p>\n<p>So further in this blog, we will see how we can launch and use SOLIDWORKS\u00ae efficiently in different languages. To do so, we need to check for these 2 things:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Whether the desired language pack is available or not, which is downloaded\/installed from \u2018SOLIDWORKS IM\u2019.<\/li>\n<li>Windows Operating System consists of same desired language pack or not.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Let\u2019s have a detail look for both conditions :<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Check whether the desired language pack is available or not, downloaded from SOLIDWORKS\u00ae IM, in the location &#8211; C:\\Program Files\\SOLIDWORKS Corp\\SOLIDWORKS\\lang. This will download the required language pack, once download is completed, close the IM by clicking on \u2018Finish\u2019. You can check the files in above mentioned location.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h4><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Check whether Windows Operating System consists of same desired language pack or not : <\/span><\/strong><\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Ensure that the windows consists of same language pack or not from Start Button &gt; Settings &gt; Time &amp; Language &gt; Language &gt; under Preferred language, check whether the language pack is downloaded or not.
