The whole design can be created in one part, with the decals and coin part available below. The tutorial demonstrates the uses of the center line sketch tool as a guide for sketches, new planes, and axis for pattern or move features.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/blog-assets.solidworks.com\/uploads\/sites\/4\/pot20of20gold201202.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"768\" height=\"432\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The sweep feature is created with new planes, guide sketches and a profile that mimics several wires. The sweep profiles is then twisted along the path to create a twisted wire handle that loops into the pots ears. The face ends of the sweep are then domed by un-ticking the continuous dome box to neatly close off the handle on both ends.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/blog-assets.solidworks.com\/uploads\/sites\/4\/frame202.png\" width=\"768\" height=\"432\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Appearances and decals are applied to the design before being brought into an assembly where a gold coin was added.
