Recent documents.<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>In SOLIDWORKS 2019 &#8220;Recent documents&#8221; got a couple of improvements.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>if needed you can change the number of recent documents to as high as 100. Earlier this number was 16.<\/li>\n<li>You now have the option to include\/exclude models opened from another model.<\/li>\n<li>SOLIDWORKS can be set to open the last documents you have worked with<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-25740\" src=\"https:\/\/blog-assets.solidworks.com\/uploads\/sites\/4\/recent-documents-update-1-615x105.png\" alt=\"Recent documents\" width=\"615\" height=\"105\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blog-assets.solidworks.com\/uploads\/sites\/4\/recent-documents-update-1-615x105.png 615w, https:\/\/blog-assets.solidworks.com\/uploads\/sites\/4\/recent-documents-update-1-300x51.png 300w, https:\/\/blog-assets.solidworks.com\/uploads\/sites\/4\/recent-documents-update-1-768x131.png 768w, https:\/\/blog-assets.solidworks.com\/uploads\/sites\/4\/recent-documents-update-1-728x124.png 728w, https:\/\/blog-assets.solidworks.com\/uploads\/sites\/4\/recent-documents-update-1.png 861w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 615px) 100vw, 615px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>You can access the &#8220;Recent documents&#8221; options in the &#8220;General option&#8221; tab-<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Bonus tip: The shortcut for recent documents is &#8220;R&#8221;,<\/p>\n<h2><strong>3. Create silhouette<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Since SOLIDWORKS 2020 it has become much more simple to create a Silouhette of your part or assembly.
