introduced functionality which automatically created a file property which showed the version of SOLIDWORKS that the file was\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.javelin-tech.com\/blog\/2016\/02\/solidworks-version-last-used-save-file\/\">last saved with<\/a>.\u00a0Now with SOLIDWORKS PDM 2018, we can easily take advantage of the SOLIDWORKS Last Saved With file property to display that information in the PDM interface.<\/p>\n<p>Once the vault is upgraded to SOLIDWORKS PDM 2018, a new Variable will automatically be created called:<\/p>\n<pre>_SW_Last_Saved_With_<\/pre>\n<p>This variable is automatically mapped to the \u201cSummary\u201d block \u201cLast Saved With\u201d attribute of\u00a0<em>slddrw<\/em>,\u00a0<em>sldasm<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0<em>sldprt<\/em>file types.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_33877\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\">\n<p><a class=\"cboxElement\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-caption-text\"><strong>_SW_Last_Saved_With_ Variable<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>The new \u201c_SW_Last_Saved_With_\u201d Variable can be used exactly the same way as any Saved With\u201d information will not populate into the Variable until the file has been Checked In to the upgraded 2018 Vault.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><strong>NOTE<\/strong>: any existing files will
