This part is an example of a multibody solid. It has 14 different bodies which could be separated out into their own part files. A Helix\/Spiral is used to create the Sweep path. A derived sketch creates a link to the original sketch, a parent child relationship where if you change the original sketch the derived sketch will automatically update.
