Beginners Guide to SOLIDWORKS

Are you a student looking to get started with SOLIDWORKS? Maybe you’re a professional designer or engineer and want to return to the basics. Good news! The SOLIDWORKS Training Team has created a series of videos dedicated to the basics of using SOLIDWORKS.

This beginner’s guide will teach you how to create a pair of needle nose pliers and, in the process, teach you the best practices for using SOLIDWORKS CAD. The series covers sketches, parts, assemblies, holes, and various commands you’ll use on a daily basis.

It also covers how to share and store data on the 3DEXPERIENCE platform and set yourself up for future success. This includes assembly reviews and revision management.
