SOLIDWORKS Part Reviewer: Honeycomb Foil Ornament

Honeycomb Foil Ornament: This is a foil or paper honeycomb ornament. A little computer intensive due to its large patterns, but worth the wait. This model uses boundary surfaces to create a diamond shape. That diamond is then patterned in two directions to make the honeycomb geometry before it is trimmed into its final shape.

There are two instances of “Move Face” using the rare “Rotate” option to have angled surfaces that help set up a boundary feature. You can download the part here.
