Welcome to another Tech Tip Tuesday where I like to share tips and tricks I’ve learned in my 15 years using SOLIDWORKS. This week I wanted to show how to do something that was asked recently while attending a User Group Meeting. The question was, how to create Alternate Position Views of Parts in a Drawing. SOLIDWORKS currently allows users to show their Assemblies in different states in a Drawing using this powerful tool. However, this is unfortunately not available for Part Drawings today. There is however a work-around for this that I shared with the audience, and have provided in a video below.
