Instructors need to create a final exam for their CAD course.   Students need to build their resume or CV to prove to employers they have SolidWorks skills.    <\/p>\n

The Certified SolidWorks Associate Exam (CSWA) tests the fundamental competencies of engineering graphics using SolidWorks.   The online, 3 hour exam, tests if a student can read a drawing, accurately create a model, record its mass properties and then multiple make changes to the model .  <\/p>\n

Each student has a unique exam that is automatically graded.  Students become part of our SolidWorks Virtual Testing Center where as they continue their engineering design career, can take part in the other 8 exams offered by SolidWorks Certification.  The SolidWorks Testing Center is located here<\/a>.  <\/p>\n

Schools on subscription, which meet the minimum license requirements, can be CSWA Providers, offering the CSWA exam to their students in a proctored classroom setting.  Student results for each topic are provided to the educators.  Educators can apply at www.solidworks.com\/cswa<\/a>.  <\/p>\n

Try out the CSWA sample exam<\/a>.   Students can join the 1000's of engineers and designers that have become SolidWorks certified.<\/p>\n
