Hemav collaborated with Universitat Polit\u00e8cnica de Catalunya (UPC)<\/a>\u00a0 for one of their newest projects, Ranger Drone<\/a>. Hemav has a strong relationship with the young university students from UPC. Their team recently traveled to Dubai and was one of the finalists in Drones for Good<\/a>. The purpose of this project is to help nature parks around the world fight poaching, track the park\u2019s land and obtain other environmental data at real time. Ranger Drone can go beyond helping nature parks for potential users like supervising oil pipelines or gas pipelines.<\/p>\n

Hemav has been able to utilize SOLIDWORKS for rapid prototyping. They use a variety of add-ons for different aspects of the drones. I got in touch with Hemav\u2019s Technical Engineering Manager, Antoni Mas<\/strong> to ask him about Hemav\u2019s experience with the SOLIDWORKS Entrepreneurship Program, \u201cHemav chose SOLIDWORKS because we recognized the effort SOLIDWORKS is making to help out startups.\u201d<\/p>\n
