Michael Mojica<\/strong> and Joe Brown\u00a0<\/strong>are\u00a0outdoor enthusiasts, dedicated to their families, and SOLIDWORKS customers. \u00a0 So when they created a new company, Outdoor Element, Mike applied for the SOLIDWORKS Entrepreneur program<\/a>. \u00a0The result is their innovative product, The Firebiner.<\/a> \u00a0The Firebiner provides the “spark” when you need it most.<\/p>\n When someone asks me, ” What do I love about SOLIDWORKS?”, \u00a0my response is our “SOLIDWORKS Community” \u00a0– students, educators, users, SOLIDWORKS user group leaders SWUGN<\/a>, partners, vars, customers – everything, the synergy between helping out a fellow designer with one thing in common, “SOLIDWORKS”.<\/p>\n During my SWUGN visit to Albuquerque, I was introduced to Mike by SWUGN user group leader, William Radigan. \u00a0I quickly saw how Mike was supported by his engineering colleagues where he uses SOLIDWORKS during the day and was dreaming\u00a0of going off on his own. \u00a0William learned about the SOLIDWORKS Entrepreneur program from Richard Doyle during a past visit to NM. \u00a0I got to talk with Mike and he applied!<\/p>\n The company was founded in 2013 by Mike when he designed The Kodiak<\/a>, a fire-starting true survival paracord bracelet, and launched it on Kickstarter.<\/p>\n In 2015, Mike decided to get a little more serious about the company and brought on Joe as a partner.\u00a0 Since then we have been developing several products. \u00a0Mike and Joe are ready for this next adventure and launched the Firebiner on Kickstarter <\/a>this week.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Thank you Mike and Joe for sharing with the SOLIDWORKS community and being part of the SOLIDWORKS Enterpreneur program<\/a> – we wish you the best. \u00a0Thank you William, Richard and the SWUGN network for the connections. \u00a0Marie<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Michael Mojica and Joe Brown\u00a0are\u00a0outdoor enthusiasts, dedicated to their families, and SOLIDWORKS customers. \u00a0 So when they created a new company, Outdoor Element, Mike applied for the SOLIDWORKS Entrepreneur program. \u00a0The result is their innovative product, The Firebiner. \u00a0The Firebiner<\/p>\n...
