\"Jack<\/p>\n

When WPI <\/a>faculty member John “Jack” Hall<\/a> received his PhD from the University of Florida<\/a> in 1962, \u00a0he began a career in vibration analysis and soil mechanics. \u00a0Jack\u00a0has\u00a0a drive for continuous learning. \u00a0After learning SOLIDWORKS during this summer, Jack\u00a0earned his\u00a0Certified SOLIDWORKS Associate<\/a> (CSWA).<\/p>\n

\"WPI<\/p>\n

Jack is also co-advisor to the WPI <\/a>Formula SAE team.<\/p>\n

As a fisherman, pilot and Experimental Aircraft Association<\/a>\u00a0(EAA<\/a>)\u00a0member, Jack is experimenting with many new ways to use SOLIDWORKS. \u00a0Jack teaches Structural Engineering, Dynamics & Signal Analysis, Engineering Experimentation, and advises senior design Master Qualifying Projects (MQPs).<\/p>\n

Since finding out about SOLIDWORKS Simulation<\/a>, Jack\u00a0is working to incorporate examples into classes and student projects.<\/p>\n

\"SOLIDWORKS<\/p>\n

Jack is an active ASTM <\/a>Member, winning the C.A. Hogentogler Award (2014) and\u00a0Richard S. Ladd Standards Development Award (2015, 2016).<\/p>\n
