you take an engineering mechanics statics class and learn about simply supported beams and the &#8220;truss&#8221;. \u00a0The truss becomes the strength behind many products including start-up Trusst Lingerie. \u00a0I got to interview entrepreneurial founders Sophia and Laura about their new business and products.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" today&#8217;s current lingerie product options. \u00a0Simply, they were not supportive, not comfortable and not pretty. \u00a0As industrial designers, they learned SOLIDWORKS in school at CMU. \u00a0Head of engineering, Kyala learned SOLIDWORKS at\u00a0NC State and CMU.<\/p>\n<p><a Paulo Bassi and VP of Business Strategy, Suchit Jain got to visit with Sophia, Laura and Kyala at \u00a0this start up in Pittsburgh&#8217;s accelerator, <a href=\"https:\/\/alphalabgear.org\/\">Alphalabgear<\/a>. \u00a0Alphalabgear incubator helps start-ups get started, mentoring 100+ businesses. \u00a0Thank you to our value added reseller, Dan Wilkes, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.prismeng.com\/\">Prism Engineering<\/a> for supporting these start-ups.<\/p>\n<p>This team has worked hard to get their products to market. \u00a0They would design by day and 3D Print by night. \u00a0The initial launch of this startup has been so successful that they are taking<a href=\"https:\/\/www.trusstlingerie.com\/?utm_source=Interest+from+website&amp;utm_campaign=ebf18e9852-Pre_orders_are_here_10_3_2015&amp;utm_medium=email&amp;utm_term=0_49003f6516-ebf18e9852-262174617&amp;ct=t(Pre_orders_are_here_10_5_2015)&amp;mc_cid=ebf18e9852&amp;mc_eid=9b8cba2831\"> pre-orders<\/a> now, \u00a0Their product will ship in the spring 2016.<\/p>\n<p>I asked Sophia and Laura what advice they would give SolidWorks students and young entrepreneurs they replied, &#8220;No
